Have a good weekend, my pretties.
- I just love this to pieces: 10 brutally honest Valentines from kids.
- The world’s 15 least visited countries. Interesting. (Thanks, Jon)
- A sneak peek at the brand new cover of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
- 8 things your grandparents did that could save your life. (Thanks, Di)
- Some zany things that people are apparently Googling. Hilarious.
- And now, here’s a picture of a cat dressed as Walter White from “Breaking Bad.” I love the Internet.
- Goats yelling human noises. Laughed so hard at this.
- The power of habit investments. So true. (Thanks, Di)
- A corgi revises his opinion on snow. Been there, little buddy. Been there. (Thanks, Cait)

I read the grandparent article from Di’s site a few days ago, and it definitely struck a cord with me! I especially loved that the first one was grow your own food. John and I talk about this all the time, and are planning on starting a garden this spring.
I’m so jealous! I really want a garden when I have a yard of my own. Can’t wait to see you post about it!
- I liked the old Harry Potter covers better
Hope you have a great weekend too!
- I’ve never even heard of the majority of those least traveled countries. Had you? I guess it makes sense that they are the least traveled!
Thanks for the shout-out Jorie!
PS – Where is the Disney post?! I have been showing them to Marty in hopes that he’ll agree to a vacation there
I am a Harry Potter purist too, Di! I much prefer the original covers. I had only heard of a handful of those countries–and most in very negative contexts, talking about the most unstable countries in the world, etc. Eeep!
And the Disney post is coming … I’m glad you’re not sick of it! I still have one left, about Magic Kingdom. It should be up next week
It can be the last persuasive attempt for Marty!
it’s been a long and really blah week….so these laughs were perfect to start Friday! Thanks, Jorie!
Aw, thank you, Rebecca! I’m glad.
I always recommend you keep the autocomplete feature turned on for Google, it is ALWAYS good for a laugh. No matter how banal your search, you will find that someone has already had some perverted or absurd version of it.
Ha, so true, Will. Lack toast took the cake on this one. Sometimes I’m worried for our future, as humans.
Haha you always find the funniest articles!
Haha, thanks, Liz! My co-workers usually forward a lot to me–but I also do a ton of Internet surfing. Ooops!
Those Valentines were too cute! My friend posted a funny one on facebook of a little girl holding a sign that said, “I love my whore family”…I laughed my butt off! If they only knew what they wrote instead
I always love to see what people are googling, it cracks me up. Just like having a blog I like to see how people find me. One time someone put it “Veronica the dog” ,well I do have dogs and talk about them and Veronica is a friend that comments often…it was just funny it put the two together and found my blog! I am so re-posting the goats on facebook…too funny!! Have a great weekend Jorie!
Hahaha that is a really funny one, Suzie. Kids are so innocent. It makes you laugh when they do all these inadvertently inappropriate things. The goats … the best of the week! I thought for sure it had to have been dubbed but I guess goats do make human-like noises!
All great things on a Friday! Happy weekend.
Thanks, hope you had a good one, Nicole!
THANK YOU for the goat video. I nearly wet myself laughing. Pretty sure one of them makes the same noise I do when seasick.
HAHAHA. The goats were one of my fav links this month.
Haha! “lack toast”
I know, Maura. Holy cow. Makes me worried for this country!
