And just like that, there are only two months left until Rachel and Matt’s wedding. For this installment of the wedding countdown, I gave the betrothed couple a pair of champagne flutes. The plain flutes felt a little drab, so I found this DIY craft on Pinterest and decided to spice ‘em up.

If you’re interested in a step-by-step tutorial, check out the original blog post at Something Turquoise. She does a great job of breaking down the process and explaining how to cure the paint.
I also plan to serve a champagne cocktail at my sister’s bachelorette party, so I recently purchased 20 plastic flutes. Again, they were lacking a certain je ne sais quoi, so I used the spouncer and the same paint to create gold and purple sparkly polka dots. I think they turned out pretty jazzy.
